BEACON BAY HOSPITAL

Life Healthcare wanted to relocate the current East London private hospital to somewhere that could accommodate the community more suitably. A large sloping site was found and the road infrastructure upgraded for the increase in traffic.

The 15 500sqm hospital is divided into 3 blocks on 7 levels due to the slope.

A special feature of the hospital includes a more family orientated maternity ward. New fathers are able to sleep over as the rooms are equipped with double beds in a more hotel-like setting.
